The sun-baked Devon coastline and iconic British seaside town of Ilfracombe play host to one of the UK’s most picturesque and stunning coastal wedding venues, Tunnels Beaches. Tucked away in its own private cliffs and connected with a stone-white, wind-swept tunnel as its only access, you can see why this venue is so unique. Not only a draw for many couples but also on most bucket lists for photographers to shoot at. Myself and Anna are both lucky enough to have shot here many times, both alone and together. It’s not hard to see why Tunnels Beaches pick up many awards each year for best venue.
I mean, where else can you get a private beach on your wedding day?
So Claire and Charlie. We found them an absolute dream to be with and to document their day. Along with little Toby, they currently reside in Amsterdam and choose Tunnels beaches after watching their virtual tour video. A venue on the beach? SOLD. Claire and Charlie couldn’t have been more chill and just trusted us to capture the day and moments as we saw them. The ceremony was stunning, as was the light for 20 minutes down on the beach for some much-needed alone time and some portraits.
